How far have I come?

I started out at 135lbs.; now I weigh 170lbs. I have been lifting for nearly six years, and bodybuilding for the past 3 years. I have competed in 7 all natural shows and placed well in my weight class. I train 4 days a week: 20 min cardio and 45 min weights. I keep a low fat diet all year, keep the soft drinks to a minimum and drink water throughout the day. My brother, who also shares the same workout and eating habits, put a list together called 50 General Guidelines for Nutrition. It is a list of 50 guidelines that we believe outlines healthy eating habits. The guideline list is a downloadable Word document that will help clear up many questions you may have about eating healthy.

Many people have asked me to post my routine on my web site for them to use. I have created my workout for you to download. My body responds better to frequent workouts rather than really tearing the muscles and resting for several days. My routine is based on frequency of the exercise, fewer sets, moderate to heavy weight. I have written the routine for men and woman. I have also included a (HIIT) High Intensity Interval Training areobic routine which was created my muscle media. It is a great up to incease your indurance, and burn fat with minimal time performing arobics. This is very intense and may be too much for most people to keep up with.

Is it easy for you?

I work 8-6, Mon.- Fri., just like most of America and I own my business, which keeps me up until midnight each night. NO! It's not easy to drag my butt to the gym when I want to go home and crash. It's not easy to push away all of the sweets and fatty foods that people bring into the office. I love free food, but I say no. It's not easy to push everyday and motivate yourself when you are tired from work. That is why I look , the way I look and that's why I don't have a big, fat belly. Look, I've heard every excuse why someone can't do it. It is all about priorities.

How important is your body, what you put in it, and your overall health? Do you like feeling sluggish and tired? Do you like not being able to do simple things without getting winded? Make a change and set priorities in your life. I lead a very busy life just like most of America. So don't make excuses why you can't do it. You're got to want it and you've got to want to do it for yourself. It's not easy, but it is what sets me apart from most of America.
